THE CONSORTIUM WANTS YOU!

To help with our research goal

In its Statement of Purpose, the Consortium for Social Responsibility and Character in Education is charged with promoting excellence by focusing on research and evaluation to identify and reflect the best practices in character and law-related education.

The Consortium wishes to concentrate on scholarly research addressing theoretical and practical aspects of education in Social Responsibility and Character through Outcome Studies.

In order to further this goal, we are soliciting proposals for research.

Proposals will fall in one of the following categories:

REQUESTS FOR STUDY

Proposals in this category suggest topics for research and request that the Consortium conduct the study and provide the results.  A Request for Study format is under development and will require detailed input concerning the research problem.  If the Request for Study is accepted, the Consortium Faculty will assign the research project and provide funding and support for the effort either within the resources of the University of Central Florida or on a contract basis external to the University.

REQUESTS FOR FUNDING SUPPORT

Submissions in this category detail a proposed research study to be conducted under the auspices of the organization making the proposal and requests funding or other research support from the Consortium.  All such requests must include a proposed budget with a detailed explanation of expenses and a progress plan with periodic reporting commitments.
