Course Description

Provides and overview of program development and planned change on an individual and organizational level. Topics include definition of needs and services goals, program development and implementation in criminal justice, and change theory. The course includes an overview of various individual and organizational change strategies.

Grading Procedure

Grades will be based on 5 web-based modules, book/film review, planned change policy paper, and a final exam. Specific information regarding the assignment requirements and grading procedures may be found on the WebCT site.

Web-Based Modules: 50% (10% for each module)

Book /Film Review: 10%

Planned Change Policy Paper: 20%

Final Exam: 20%

 

 

The grading scale is as follows: 90-100%=A; 80-89%=B; 70-79%=C; 60-69%=D; below 60%=F
