The President's Commission on the Status of Racial and Ethnic Minorities was founded to study the racial and ethnic climate of the University of Central Florida. Click here to read more about the President Hitt's Charge for the Commission.

Along with our Commission, President Hitt also established the President's Commission on the Status of Women.  This Commission was developed to study the issues surrounding the women at the University of Central Florida.

The Commission Retreat

A special part of our mission also includes the search for initiatives in other college campuses across the nation.  During our search we were fortunate to find the University of New Hampshire's Commission on the Status of Minorities.  To aid us in our mission we asked Mr. James Washington, Director of Admissions at UNH, to share with us his experience.  Would you like to know more?
