2002 will be held at the Sheraton World Resort, 10100 International Drive, Orlando,
Florida, 32821-8095
The
Sheraton is conveniently located near area attractions such as Sea World, Disney
World, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and is just 15 minutes from
Orlando International Airport. Trolley service is available from the hotel to
all major shopping areas, restaurants and attractions in the International Drive
area.
Room reservations
can be made by calling (407)352-1100 or toll free, (800)327-0363. Please do not
call the general Sheraton number for reservations, (800)325-3535. They will probably
say the hotel is fully booked - due to room blocks for conferences. Rooms are
still available within the block of rooms I have reserved for CIES participants.

Comparative and International Education Society 2002 Conference to get reduced
room rates. Rates for a single, double, triple or quads are $149(plus 11% tax).
These are excellent rates for a resort hotel in Orlando, especially during the
peak spring season! This conference rate will also apply 3 days prior and 3 days
after the conference dates, based upon availability. Deadline for Hotel Registration
is February 5, 2002.
