CASA Shave ICE and Nomination Day

This Wednesday, April 1st, CASA will be doing Nomination for the 2009 - 2010 School year. If you have what it takes and think you can bring CASA a step up than this is your chance to step up to the plate.

CASA will be hosting their Annual Shave ICE Event on this day as well, so come out and bring your friends for some yummish frozen treat to cool off from the heat.

Asian American Heritage Month is still going on. This week APAC, KSA, CASA, DPL and FSA has stuff plan for all of us to do, but don't forget the most important event on March 19th, KSA/CASA BLOCK PARTY. Everyone's invited, UCF Students with Student ID gets in Free, everyone else only $5 Dollars.

Thanks for coming out yesterday to celebrate Chinese New Year with us. I hope you all had a great time because I sure did.

Also On behave of CASA, I would like to thank all the performers for coming out and putting aside your busy schedule for us.

Don't forget that this event wouldn't be as good as it was with out CSSA. Thank you CSSA for giving us an awesome show. It was fun working with you all. Lets work together again next year and make it even bigger and better.

CSSA/CASA Chinese New Year Festival

If you celebrate Lunar New Year than most of you are probably home or will be home on Sunday spending time with your family. Well of course, we all have to follow our tradition, but when our busy schedule keeps us from having quality family time we have no choice but to continue doing what we have been doing.

BUT...

Everyone needs a break from school, work or anything that's tying you done. If your still around in the Orlando area why don't you take a break from your busy life and enjoy a fun and filling event Host by the Chinese Scholar Student Association and your favorite Chinese American Student Association.

CSSA and CASA have joined together once again to host their Chinese New Year Festival and this year it will be hosted on Chinese New Years Eve, January 25, 2009.

Everyone get ready for a new year and all those who are born in the year of the OX it's your time to shine.

CASA/KSA Join Meeting

Everyone is probably already settled into their new semester classes. Its the 3rd week of school. VASA, ASA, FSA and KSA already had their first general meeting. All that's left is CASA to present us with a wonderful Event.

BUT...

This semester is going to be a little different. CASA and KSA decided to share their Events together. CASA Will be presenting you with a special Lunar New Year Meeting. With a special New Year Game and New Year Lucky Candy.

Right After CASA Event it's time to celebrate KSA Birthday once more this week with a special food eating contest and there will be no entry fee.


ITS ALL FREE. Come out before you miss out on all the "GRUB"

New Semester / New Stuff

CASA Fashion and Culture Show

CASA's Dumpling Social Fundraiser Extravaganza!!!

The SECOND fall social event from CASA is this WEDNESDAY, October 22nd! Help CASA raise money for future events! Dumplings will be sold! Five dumplings for $2! Only $2!!! What kind of dumplings you ask? Why fried, steamed, AND vegetarian!

The event will be held in the Barbara Ying Center and doors open at 5:30 PM! There will be board games, card games, and a movie! What movie? It's a surprise! Also, all those that have signed up for the Big/Little Program, you'll find out the results then too!

After the social, DPhiL will be hosting a Self-Defense Workshop. Make sure to support them too since it is DPhiL Week!

Dynasties: Fashion & Culture Festival

THIS IS CASA's FIRST BIG EVENT.

AN EVENT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS.

CASA will be presenting to you and everyone else authentic Chinese garments of the Ancient Chinese Dynasties. Along with the show there would be many other culture performance like Chinese acrobatic and Guqing(Chinese Piano).

CASA also needs your help with decoration, setting up, models, skit performers. If you like to volunteer please email one of our respective officers.

The Event will be held on Friday November 21, 2008 at 6PM in the Key West Ball room.

"Go Diego Go" Concession

China Earth Quake Relief

Please come out and help CASA with this charity event! Even if you cannot help CASA table at this event, please support the China Earthquake victims. Over 5 million people have been left homeless and over 10 thousand children killed. Any spare change can help even if it's just a penny it means a lot. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross!
