CAOS supports Women in Engineering
The Society of Women Engineers student chapter at UCF hosted their annual contest for middle school girls this past November. CAOS provided lab tours and demonstrations for parents and attending teachers to encourage interest in optical science and engineering.
Fall Picnic 2010
This year's CREOL Fall Picnic was held on October 16th, 2010. Denise Whiteside won the dessert competition.
Optics Day '10 A Huge Success
Optics Day, held this year on April 1, was a tremendous success! There were many of UCF's Engineering students on hand to listen to Dr. Saleh's and Dr. Hagan's discussions on the field of Optics. Many area gradeschool students also attended. All enjoyed hands-on Optics demos explained by CREOL's graduate students.
