About Dr. Adams:
Dr. Adams has been at UCF since 1994, when she joined the faculty to become the Director of Women's Studies, where she remained for three years. Teaching:
For Dr. Adams, teaching is both a way to pass on knowledge and a way to help students learn skills of critical thinking and analysis, which are essential to attaining NEW knowledge. She enjoys both classroom and online teaching; in both, student participation, discussion, and involvement are central.
Teaching fields for Dr. Adams include medieval through modern Europe, modern Germany, history of science, and women's history.
