I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in writing, rhetoric, linguistics, and research methods. In addition to classroom teaching, I have taught more than 250 graduate and undergraduate students, representing every college at UCF, to become peer writing consultants in the University Writing Center (UWC). Much of my teaching happens online; one of my courses, Modern English Grammar, won a WebCT Exemplary Course Award.

I've also worked with numerous student groups on projects for classes that other people teach. One of those student groups developed a software program called SenDraw that creates Reed-Kellogg grammar diagrams.
