Project Part 3 deadline has changed. The deadline is now 12/4 by midnight. There is an alternative project assignment. The alternative assignment is simpler than the original and worth 5 pts. The original assignment is tougher and worth 10 pts (5 pts extra credit). Please read the project descriptions carefully and turn one of the assignments in on time. I repeat, for the homework #3 and Project part #3 there will be absolutely no extension.

Last homework assignment of this semester is assigned. It will be due Nov. 29. Since time is of essence, just like project part 3, there will be absolutely no extension on the homework deadline.

Project Part 3 is available on the web site, it will be assigned on Friday Nov. 19th and will be due December 7th midnight. I would strongly suggest that you finish the project by Dec. 4th. As the grades have to be turned in soon after the final exam, there will be absolutely no extension on the project deadline.

I have received an e-mail from the department saying that the NEW lab manuals will be available here  by the end of this week. Please disregard my previous e-mail with the link to the old lab manual. Here is a PowerPoint presentation that explains the sampling theorem with pictures. The figures in the presentation are created with this Matlab code (.txt format).

If there are no textbooks left at the bookstore, alternatively you can get the book from Amazon. Here is a direct link to the book.
