What
you will learn in this class?
Here you will learn a series of comprehension strategies that you could use while you read stories or newspapers. You may not know what a comprehension strategy is. It is a plan of steps that a good reader use to make sense of a story or other text. After completed the course, you will be able to understand it and also be able to:
1. identify why you want to use a comprehension strategy;
2. identify when you would use this strategy -- before, during or after reading;
3. identify steps how the strategy is used in action;
4. apply the strategy in reading.
How
you will be graded in this class?
In this class, you are expected to finish three kinds of assignments. They are discussion posting, quiz, and reading and writing assignments. To make a good final grade, you will need to finish all three tasks within each instruction module.
