Dial in Settings for UCF
This section gives settings that many SLIP/PPP packages require, including the Chameleon Sampler, Dialup Networking, MacPPP, and FreePPP. Depending on the package you are using, not all settings may be required. Note: This is for DIAL IN ONLY, when you are OFF CAMPUS. Laptop settings when in main Lab West (cc2-104) are listed down below.

note: when using windows check the following if you are having any problems
1) make sure that the log onto network box is  NOT checked
2) make sure that bring up terminal window after dialing  IS checked

note: These settings are for use with a laptop in main lab west (cc2-104), your computer must have a network interface card(nic) that can handle a RJ-45 connector (cat5 ethernet cable).
