Family is the greatest and strongest institution of mankind!

Back in the day, when...

Mingo and Priscilla lived and were married in Liberty, Mississippi during the 1800's. To date, little is known about them other than that they were victims of prejudice, injustice and caught in the bonds of slavery.

Despite the circumstances which surrounded Mingo and Priscilla, they realized the need to instill in their children principles that would keep them through the hard times as well as the good times; principles of love hope and the need for a right relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

They not only instilled these principles in their children but maintained them throughout their own lives - this can be seen through the fruit which their children bore - principles that caused them to move forward regardless of what they faced, and provide a better life for their children.

Those same principles not only encouraged Mingo and Priscilla, but also encouraged their eleven children and would encourage their children's children for generations to come. Even though Mingo, Priscilla and all of the eleven children have now passed on, those same principles of love, hope and the need of salvation is still alive in us today.

To this union eleven children were born.
