My name is Ashraf El-Bahy. I was born on June 26th, 1962 in Cairo, Egypt. I finished my Civil Engineering undergraduate studies in May 1985 in Cairo University. I was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. Late 1988, I finished my M.Sc. Degree in Structural Engineering in Cairo University. I joined the graduate studies program at the University of Central Florida in 1992, where I finished my Ph.D. under the title "Cumulative Seismic Damage of Reinforced Concrete Bridge Piers". I also worked as a structural engineer in "ARICON" ( Cairo, Egypt), "Val Hausner Consulting Engineers" (Cocoa Beach, Florida). Right now, I work as a structural engineer in "Tilden Lobnitz Cooper Engineering" (Orlando, Florida). I also work as an Adjunct Professor at University of Central Florida teaching Reinforced Concrete and Structural Analysis courses. Between 1985 and 1997 I had the chance to design several projects, to conduct research and to publish several papers. Please see my resume.
