TRAVELING SESSIONS

TITLE: Wire Frame Hats and Headpieces

DESCRIPTION:
Students will develop a pattern for a wire head piece based on a standard tiara shape commonly used in classic ballet. The instructor has created headpieces and hats for three different productions of "The Nutcracker" designed by Zack Brown as well as a number of other ballet headpieces. The pattern will be used to form wire into a sturdy headpiece that is comfortable to wear and effective for ballet and theatrical applications. These techniques are easily adapted for variety of purposes.

Class can last four to eight hours.
