TITLE: Flat Patterning – Sloper Fitting

DESCRIPTION:
This is a lecture/demonstration fitting various women’s sizes (8-24) commercial sloper patterns cut in muslin/gingham fabric on female bodies demonstrating how to make adjustments to custom fit a standardized pattern. Fitting areas covered are shoulder width, armseye width, front and back lengths, armseye and neck circumferences and shapes, set in fitted sleeves, and straight skirt waist and hip adjustments, marking for crotch depth and knee length for further pant pattern development. Marking adjustments after fitting and creating a custom fitted sloper to take home is the goal of this session.
