Program Description

This program option will prepare professional educators and administrators for the increasingly complex curriculum issues, including K-12, higher education, and private sector. In addition to the core requirements, students will select 15 hours from the following courses:

  • EDF 6206 Challenges of Classroom Diversity (3 hours)
  • EDF 6809 Introduction to Comparative and International Education (3 hours)
  • EDF 6517 History and Philosophy of American Education (3 hours)
  • EDG 6224 Curriculum Policy Analysis (3 hours)
  • EDG 6046 Contemporary Issues in Education (3 hours)
  • EDG 6253 Curriculum Inquiry (3 hours)
  • EDG 6285 Evaluation of School Program (3 hours)
  • ESE 6235 Curriculum Design (3 hours)
