Dance Fever
Style of Dance: Dance Fever is a non-competitive dance team that teaches and performs a variety of dance genres. In the past we have performed hip-hop, jazz, ballet, kick line you name it. We encourage members to choreograph. So if you have experience in a special area of dance, we would love to learn it.
Open Door Policy: We cater to ALL experience levels and there are no tryouts needed just an open door policy to all our meetings. We accept new members at all times during the semester, so come on in and be ready to dance!
Events: This semester we are pleased to announce that we will be having 'theme nights' where we will team up with other dance clubs on campus to learn new styles of dance including swing and belly dancing! We hope this will be a wonderful recruiting opportunity for new members so all are welcome! When we are not learning new routines, we prepare for upcoming events. So far this year we have performed in the the UCF Homecoming Parade, "Chalk on the Walk" with the Boys & Girls Club as well as put on a holiday party for two nursing homes in the Orlando area. In the Spring we will be performing in Knight-Thon, Relay for Life and possibly Late Knights. When & Where: Our meetings are on the second floor of the Student Union on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8PM. Please refer to our calendar page since, due to the Student Union's availability, our practices are not always in the same room each week.
